Lesson scheduling:
Private lessons are offered in weekly 30, 45, and 60-minute lengths. Create More Music offers clients a Monthly Scheduling Plan or Quarterly Scheduling Plan.
On the Monthly Scheduling Plan, clients are billed in advance of the upcoming month for scheduled lessons. Clients may omit dates from the calendar and invoice only before their card is charged for the lessons. Missed lessons must be made up within 30 days from the end of the lesson inclusive billing cycle and are not eligible to be credited to a subsequent monthly invoice/bill.
The Quarterly Scheduling Plan consists of 12 lessons to be scheduled and completed in 13 weeks. If all 12 lessons are completed by the 12th week, in order to avoid an interruption in lessons, the Quarter will simply renew one week early. Missed lessons must be made up before the end of the Quarter and are not eligible to be credited to a subsequent Quarterly bill.
Monthly Scheduling & Payment Policy:
All services are auto-billed in advance and we accept credit or debit card payments via our Stripe payment processor. For those clients on the Monthly billing plan, a schedule confirmation will be sent approximately 5-6 days in advance of the month. Payments for scheduled lessons will be auto-billed on the 1st of the month to reserve the day, time slot and instructor. Students enrolling after the start of the month will be billed on a prorated basis.
Monthly billing is calculated based on the number of lessons scheduled in the month. The number of lessons may vary depending on the day of the week when the lesson occurs.
There are typically four or five regularly scheduled lessons in a month.
Create More Music does not bill lessons that occur on the following Holidays:
Lessons that occur during Holidays will be billed a la carte. Invoices, payments, and billing information can be managed from our secure, online parent portal.
Late payments will result in a $10 penalty fee up to the 15th of the month and $3 per day for each additional day that the payment is late. Overdue invoices may result in a suspension of lessons.
Quarterly Scheduling & Payment Policy:
All services are auto-billed in advance and we accept credit or debit card payments via our Stripe payment processor. Students may choose the Quarterly Scheduling Plan at any time and the Quarter will begin at the requested date of the client.
For those clients on the Quarterly billing plan, after the first cycle, a renewal invoice will be sent 6-7 prior to the renewal date and the start of the new billing cycle. Payments will be auto-billed on the due date. Invoices, payments, and billing information can be managed from our secure, online parent portal.
All 12 lessons available on the Quarterly Scheduling Plan must be completed within a time period of 13 weeks. Missed lessons do NOT roll over and will NOT be credited to subsequent cycles. If all 12 lessons are completed before the last week of the 13-week period, the plan will renew at the earliest week following the completion of all eligible lessons.
Late payments will result in a $10 penalty fee up to the 15th of the month and $3 per day for each additional day that the payment is late. Overdue invoices may result in a suspension of lessons.
Cancellations & Rescheduling:
Students must provide cancellation notice before 5pm the day prior to the scheduled lesson being canceled. If the office or teacher does not receive notification before 5pm the day prior, the student will be billed for the lesson and the lesson will not be eligible for reschedule.
In order for a lesson to be eligible for rescheduling, cancellation notice is required before 5pm the day prior to the scheduled lesson. Missed lessons are subject to availability and must be made up within 30 days from the end of the lesson inclusive billing cycle. Missed lessons are not eligible for refunds or to be credited to a subsequent monthly invoice/bill. Group classes, group lessons, and band programs are not eligible for refunds or make-up classes.
Thank you for your consideration and respect for this firm, non-negotiable policy.
Create More Music prides itself on employing qualified professional musicians and educators who perform professionally. In cases of teacher cancellation or cancellation due to inclement weather or hazardous driving conditions, make-up lessons will be provided to students and must be completed within 30 days from the end of the lesson inclusive billing cycle.
Substitute Teachers:
In order to ensure that our students receive an uninterrupted education, Create More Music reserves the right to assign students a substitute teacher due to teacher vacations, illnesses and/or turnover.
Withdrawal:
To terminate lessons, students are required to notify Create More Music before the beginning of the billing period. The billing period will be defined by the student’s scheduling plan. Withdrawal after the beginning of the billing period will NOT be eligible for refunds.
If the student wishes to take a break from lessons, they are required to notify the office before their card is charged for their billing plan. Any unused lessons within the billing period will not be refunded or carried over when lessons ultimately resume.
Upon returning from the break, lesson time slots cannot be guaranteed to the student and will be determined by availability.
To terminate lessons, students are required to notify Create More Music 30 days prior to canceling lessons. Failure to do so will result in a $25 cancellation fee.
