School Enrichment Classes

Ignite Creativity and Foster Musical Excellence in Students
At Create More Music, we are passionate about providing enriching music education experiences within schools. Before, during, and after school enrichment classes offer students the opportunity to explore, learn, and excel in various musical disciplines, cultivating their creativity and musical abilities.

Benefits of School Enrichment Music Classes

Enrichment classes are an excellent way to introduce children to music in a variety of ways. From singing to learning an instrument, understanding the basics of music is a great springboard to more in depth study. Additionally, as a core subject along with traditional STEM, music will strengthen a number of skills outside of music like communication, listening, motor skills, cognitive reasoning, patience, resilience, and even raising test scores!

Comprehensive Music Curriculum: Our school enrichment music classes cover a wide range of disciplines, including piano, guitar, ukulele, violin/strings, singing, musical theatre, and percussion. With our expert instructors, students can dive into their instrument of choice or explore multiple musical avenues, developing well-rounded musical skills.
Experienced Instructors: Our instructors are highly skilled and experienced in teaching students of all ages and skill levels. They have a deep passion for music and are committed to fostering a love for music in students, inspiring them to reach their fullest potential.
Skill Development and Musical Excellence: Our classes focus not only on fostering creativity and musical exploration but also on developing solid foundational skills. Whether it’s mastering piano techniques, strumming chords on the guitar, singing with proper vocal techniques, or exploring various percussion instruments, our classes provide the tools and guidance for students to excel in their musical journey.
Collaborative and Performance Opportunities: We believe that music is meant to be shared and celebrated. Our school enrichment music classes provide collaborative opportunities for students to connect with their peers, work together, and perform as a group. Regular recitals and performances allow students to showcase their progress and build confidence in their musical abilities.

After School Classes at a Glance

Our school enrichment music classes not only foster musical skills but also enhance students’ cognitive abilities, social development, and overall well-being. Music has been proven to increase IQ, raise test scores, improve communication and fine motor skills, and develop cognitive skills in children. The benefits of music are significant and all students should have equal access to the music education that can help them grow.

Enrichment Class Descriptions

Guitar Classes

Whether your goal is strumming acoustic ballads, rocking out on an electric guitar, or mastering fingerstyle techniques, our guitar classes will equip them with the skills, knowledge, and passion for a lifelong musical journey. Get started with easy, fun, and familiar songs we all love. Play melodies and strum chords of popular tunes, while learning the basics of technique, rhythm, and musicianship. Warning: May lead to Confidence, Improved Fine Motor Skills, and a LifeLong Passion for Music! Be the rock star you’ve dreamed about!

Piano Classes

Get started mimicking Mozart, or jamming like John Legend! This is not only your chance to learn about the keyboard and how it works, but learn about all things related to piano! You’ll be playing your first song by the end of the first class and we’ll even have a performance for the finale! A piano or keyboard at home for practice is helpful.

Singing Classes

Ever want to learn to sing? Everybody gets to feel like a performer. Through familiar melodies, creative movement, and fun games, learn how to sing, keep rhythm, and perform songs we all know and love! Incorporate movement with singing to learn simple and fun musical concepts like beats, rhythm, and pitch. This class is a great introduction to music for budding stars.

Violin Classes

From classical music to Coldplay, Vivaldi to Van Halen, the sound of the violin is everywhere! We’ll learn some basics and technique, but also have fun creating our own string ensemble. Beware: Kids might develop a passion for the violin and see all the possibilities the instrument holds. Don’t be surprised if they come home humming familiar songs and sit down to practice!
