In this class we will be covering songs that we all recognize and love. We’ll focus on the most recognizable part, the repeated musical phrase which focuses much of the energy and excitement of the rock song – the riff.
Even those with limited experience will benefit from this class. It’s a great start to building your repertoire and developing that love for the instrument. Riffs and songs of varying degrees of difficulty will be covered, so those who are new to guitar will have success and those with more experience will be challenged. Either way, you will have a lot to practice when the class is over!
Each guitar riff will be covered in-depth individually, before moving onto the next. Picking patterns and a few exercises may be explored to build skills and strength, in order to execute more difficult passages.

You will likely impress some friends and your mom will be very proud! You will gain skills in a variety of areas from fingering techniques to picking. Basic exercises that focus on fretting notes and using a pick will be covered as well.
